It was a misadventure that could have ended in tragedy, but for the grace of God. When 12 boys and their soccer coach ventured into the Tham Luang caves in Rai province, little did they know that their bad judgement would result in an ordeal that would command the attention of the world.
It took the efforts of people, far and near, to get the soccer team out of the water dungeon into which they had put themselves.
However, there is actually much more to thank God for. There were reports that rescuers celebrating the extraction of the 12 young soccer players and their coach from an underground cave had to scramble for their lives. This was after a water pump failed soon after the last of the boys had been evacuated.
All the boys are safe and are recovering in hospital.
Overjoyed families and relations
