Queen Elizabeth 2 has docked as a hotel at Mina Rashid, Dubai
The liner, Queen Elizabeth 2, will tomorrow start a new life as a permanently moored hotel and tourism spot in Dubai.
The ship has been converted into a 13-deck hotel, with rooms ranging from a standard size of 17 sq m to two royal suites of 76 sq m.
When all her facilities are ready for use, she will have 13 restaurants and bars, meeting rooms, a ballroom and the QE2 Exhibition, an interactive museum.
The QE2 was not retired from active service until she had completed 1,400 voyages.
