Some observers may be tempted to describe Republican senator John McCain's differences with President Trump as a fight to the death. This is considering that they never resolved their differences despite both knowing that the distinguished senator was on his way out.
Nevertheless, due to the fact that Americans hold their servicemen in very high regard, there have been an outpouring of eulogies for the departed congressman from across America.
It has been confirmed that among those paying tribute to McCain at his memorial services will be Jeff Flake, Joe Biden, Megan McCain, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Henry Kissinger, Lindsay Graham, Joe Lieberman and Kelly Ayotte.
Now, the senator likely to succeed John McCain as head of the Armed Services Committee in the upper chamber, James Inhofe, has weighed in on the feud between the president and senator McCain. The senator has refused to heap all the blame on President Trump.
Hear senator Inhofe :
'Well, you know, frankly, I think that John McCain is partially to blame for that because he is very outspoken. He disagreed with the President in certain areas and wasn't too courteous about it.'
