British prime minister Theresa May is concerned that President Trump's decision to draw closer to Russian leader Vladimir Putin may harm the West.
The leader of the Free World meets president Putin on Monday in Helsinki after his four-day visit to Britain.
Most Western leaders would want Putin to be kept at harm's length.
In a veiled reference to the Skripal nerve agent attack for which Russia was blamed, Mrs May said that Nato must work together “to raise the cost of malign behaviour whenever it occurs.”
For acts bordering on gangsterism, Britain expelled 23 Russian diplomats from London, prompting the Kremlin to expel the same number of British diplomats from Moscow.
