In the run-up to his September 24 sentencing for aggravated indecent assault, America's dad, Bill Cosby has fired his entire legal team. Cosby, 80, who was found guilty of three counts of sexual assault, faces up to 30 years jail.
He was convicted for drugging and molesting Andrea Constand at his home in January 2004.
His new representation is a criminal defense lawyer from Pennsylvania.
The new man at Cosby's is Joseph P Green Jr, a PA lawyer. His website claims the defense lawyer:
'Is recognized by his peers as a preeminent criminal trial lawyer.
'He is an exceptionally experienced litigator, having tried over 100 cases to jury verdict, including acquittals in nationally significant federal criminal cases, white-collar, CCE and drug-related criminal cases.
'[Green] is presently litigating a number of sex offender registration cases in state and county courts, including challenges to the retroactive application of SORNA II and other sex offender registration laws.'
