UK's closest allies have ordered Vladimir Putin's envoys to return to Russia

The US, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Ukraine and other European countries this afternoon announced the expulsion of Russian diplomats.

It happened after the Prime Minister shared a damning security report on Putin's involvement in the Salisbury poison attack.

Mrs May convinced other EU countries to follow suit in expelling diplomats, including Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite

The exercise is aimed at leaving Putin’s notorious network of agents across Europe and North America decimated.

The latest figures in the expulsions saga are as follows:

USA: 60 diplomats expelled (including 12 from the UN) and Seattle consulate closed

Ukraine: 13 diplomats expelled

Germany: 4 diplomats expelled

France: 4 diplomats expelled

Poland: 4 diplomats expelled

Czech Republic: 3 diplomats expelled

Lithuania: 3 diplomats expelled

Italy: 2 diplomats expelled

Denmark: 2 diplomats expelled

Netherlands: 2 diplomats expelled

Estonia: 1 diplomat expelled
