KIM Jong-un last night held a lavish bash to celebrate his country’s detonation of a H-bomb last week.
Kim was pictured alongside wife Ri Sol-Ju as hundreds of his minions clapped the dictator.
The scientists behind the test – which registered on the earthquake Richter scale – were hailed as Kim urged his nation to “re-double its efforts” to complete its nuclear missile programme.
He went on to label the success a “great auspicious event of the national history”
There had been widespread fears that the North Korean tyrant might order another nuke test yesterday – a common theme on national holidays.
But the only bang heard in Pyongyang on the anniversary of the country's foundation was the pop of a champagne corks.
Kim again lapped up the adulation of his apparently adoring supporters.
