JUVENTUS REFUSES TO LET GO

It all started with the Blues making what seemed like routine enquiries about Alex Sandro, the Juventus left back. Juventus were however shocked that Chelsea were willing to pay the £61 million asking price for the player. Actually, Chelsea were not only ready to meet the asking price, they wanted the deal done quickly.
Juventus have now reconsidered their decision to think of selling their valued left back. The Brazil international, 26, is nevertheless himself now keen to move to Stamford Bridge and there are even reports that Sandro had agreed personal terms with Chelsea. All these may now seem premature. Juventus are now doing everything they can to keep the player by tempting him with a new £84,000-a-week deal. The Italian club are trying to sway Sandro into staying for one more season. Chelsea are willing to pay Sandro wages of around £150,000-per-week. The Serie A side have told the Brazilian he must make a transfer request if he really wants to leave. |
