SAUDIS AND ISRAELIS IN TRADE TALKS

The bastion of Sunni Islam and guardian of the two sacred Muslim cities, Saudi Arabia are to establish economic ties with the Jewish state.  Depending on the progress of negotiations, this would enable Israeli businesses to operate in the Gulf.  It would also allow El Al, the Israeli national airline, to fly over Saudi airspace.

Without any doubt, this would change the dynamics of the myriad of conflicts bedevilling the Middle East.
