You may recall that Cristiano Ronaldo, the Real Madrid superstar, was lately being accused of tax fraud by the Spanish authorities.  You can be sure that the problems are not about to go away.  The player was reported to be shaking with shock after allegations of a £12.9 million fraud were brought against him.

Now, Ronaldo is so upset at being accused of tax avoidance he wants to leave Spain.  Zindine Zidane, his manager, has been been on his knees in the last few days begging the player not to leave.

The Spanish club gave him a £365,000-a week deal last November to keep the player at Madrid until 2021.  Due to the situation that has now arisen, Ronaldo will now get that extended by a year plus a signing-on fee to cover any demands from the authorities.
