The North Koreans are angry and shocked that China appears to be taking sides with the US in the face-off between the two countries.  In a chilling warning, North Korea's KCNA news agency, said ''China had better ponder over the grave consequences to be entailed by its reckless act of chopping down the pillars of the DPRK-China relations.''


The KCNA accused China of 'shifting the blame for deteriorated relations with the DPRK' and 'talking rubbish' on issues relating to the US.


The news agency also held China responsible for ''hyping up'' damage caused by North Korean nuclear tests to China's three north eastern provinces and ''dancing to the tune'' of President Donald Trump.
