18-tonne monster camper van holds 1,000 litres of fresh water, costs £630,000 and has a lift for carrying a motorbike
The supersized camper van, which is painted in military green, is called the Globe Cruiser Family 7500.
It has been created by Austrian company Action Mobil and looks like something that wouldn’t be out of place in a warzone.
The truck is around 33 feet long and more than 12 feet high.
It weighs more than 20 small cars, is fitted with six giant off-road wheels and even has a lift for carrying a motorbike on the back.
But it also is built for comfort, and inside has a spacious 23 square feet of living space.
There is also a washing machine and dryer so your clothes can be cleaned and satellite TV so you don’t miss out on your favourite shows.
Action Mobil describe it as the ‘perfect’ family motor home with space for two adults and two children as well as a kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms.
So could it be the perfect place to sit out the apocalypse?
However, some people are already preparing for doomsday by stockpiling food and fuel and even have bunkers ready just in case.
Meanwhile, we previously reported how scientists moved the Doomsday clock forward 30 seconds so it is now two-and-half minutes to midnight. (The Sun,UK)
