Mourinho has not bought a home in the north-west and lives out of a hotel but has said that he wants to stay at United beyond 2019

Experts at reading body language have been saying that José Mourinho has lost the will or the desire to continue and may throw in the towel anytime soon. This is considering that his long-time rival, Pep Guardiola, who rules the other half of Manchester seems to be running away with the league title.
The Portuguese coach has however dismissed claims that he may walk out on Manchester United this summer as “garbage” and insisted that he wishes to remain at Old Trafford beyond the end of his contract, which expires in the summer of 2019.
He has made repeated references to his inability to compete, financially, with neighbours Manchester City, the league leaders. He has also refused to buy a home in the North West, living instead in a penthouse apartment at a city centre hotel while commuting to and from his family home in London.
Mourinho had to respond to reports that senior club figures fear he will quit United this year, two-thirds of the way through his contract with the club. In all honesty, Mourinho has cut an increasingly frustrated figure in recent weeks as he has seen his team’s title aspirations effectively end and been knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Bristol City.
Yesterday, Mourinho insisted that he remained as committed as ever to his job He said he was looking beyond the end of his three-year deal with United and saw himself staying long-term in the region.
Hear the Portuguese:
“Look, it depends on what you want to know and what you want to speak about. If you want to speak about some news, I say ‘garbage’. I don’t find a better word to define the talk.
“My intention is to stay, and to work and to improve and to bring the club to where the club belongs, and I want to stay. And I don’t see any reason not to stay.
