Eden Mansion in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland was built in 1860
It has eight bedrooms, all with en suites. There is a drawing room, snug and library with built-in bookcases and a fireplace with a marble hearth, as well as a cinema room with reclaimed art deco seating sourced from a theatre in Liverpool.
A designer kitchen is supplemented by a neighbouring serving room. They have designer cabinetry and islands, Belfast sinks, multiple ovens, a wine cooling system and refrigerated drawers.
The estate’s five acres have been overhauled. Apple, pear, plum and cherry trees grow within the walled garden, which is bounded by a high brick wall with decorative Queen Anne stone coping and a wrought-iron gate. The gate lodge, built in the 1890s, a four-car brick garage with original sliding doors, and stables.
