A 'double agent' as an American soldier

Veteran: Ikaika Kang completed two tours of Iraq and Afghanistan
According to FBI records, Ikaika Kang was not only a sergent first class based in Hawaii, he was also a determined sympathiser of ISIS.  It really would not be out of place to describe him as a double agent considering that he not only worked for America, he was also trying to work for America's enemies.

Ikaika Kang was said to have purchased a drone for IS to use against US forces.  He was in court yesterday in Honolulu on charges of terrorism.
Kang also gave military documents to people he believed would give them to the extremist group.

Kang was alleged to have voluntarily pledged loyalty to IS leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi.

He was also alleged to have described America as the only terrorist organisation in the world.

Kang enlisted in the army in December 2001, just months after the 11 September attacks. He served in Iraq from March 2010 to February 2011, and Afghanistan from July 2013 to April 2014. Kang was assigned to the headquarters of the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade.
