A ring master he is certainly not, at least, not in the exalted company of fighters like Ali, Frazier and a few other boxing legends. However, very few fight fans will argue with the fact that Deontay Wilder packs a punch. He has claimed 41 victories via knockout with just one coming by the way of a decision. His 43rd fight, which was declared a draw, was against his next Saturday's opponent, Tyson Fury. That fight would now be tagged his first against the former undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the world. Fury was seconds from being counted out after being knocked down by the American.



Wilder is desperate to beat the British fighter


Not surprisingly, the Bronze Bomber appears to regard himself as the hardest-hitting boxer ever. Hear the Alabama native, 'For me, if people label me as the hardest-hitting heavyweight in history, then I accept it and I agree.'






As the Wilder circus rolls into Las Vegas, the showman also seems to believe that he is not appreciated enough. He said, 'People are blind to my skills - you have to have eye co-ordination, speed, footwork to then be able to put your fist where the target is. But being able to have this tremendous power means I could survive any era.'
