Belgian playmaker, Eden Hazard, has finally reported back at Chelsea. The player returned to training with Maurizio Sarri's men on Monday after a summer of wild speculation.
Hazard had been given a well-deserved holiday following his heroics at the World Cup where he helped Belgium to a third-place finish.
Most observers seemed to have concluded that the £200million-rated star is on his way out of Stamford Bridge after he openly flirted with the idea of joining Real Madrid this summer. This was because the Spanish giants had been courting him for the past three seasons.
It was not that the Blues were about to allow their talisman to leave without a fight. The chances now are that Hazard will be persuaded to sign a new contract worth at least £300,000 per week. Also, Sarri is ready to make him the club captain to keep him happy.
