Mohamed Salah rewarded with new five-year deal by Liverpool

Liverpool fans will be happy to learn that Egyptian strike sensation, Mohamed Salah, has put pen to paper on a new deal at the club

The deal, which contains no release clause, is a reward for Salah's stunning performances last season when he scored 44 goals in 52 matches as Jürgen Klopp’s side reached the Champions League final and finished fourth in the Premier League.



It is understood that negotiations with Salah’s representatives have been going on for several months and the agreement is likely to represent a wage hike towards £200,000 a week with separate bonuses linked to his scoring exploits.

The Egyptian striker is the latest player to agree new terms as Liverpool seek to keep the nucleus of their squad together with Roberto Firmino also having signed a five-year deal towards the end of last season.
