Former tennis idol Boris Becker has dismissed allegations that his debts total £54million. He said this is ‘absolutely not true’ during an appearance on BBC’s The Andrew Marr Show.
The three-time Wimbledon champion maintains he has settled a multi-million-pound debt to a UK bank that says he still owes it money.

Becker has also denied claims he is bankrupt.
Becker's lawyers also argued he had immunity because he served the Central African Republic as an attaché to the EU. However, the CAR has said a diplomatic passport apparently issued to him was a fake.
Becker, who was at Queen’s in London yesterday, hit back: ‘I have spoken to the president on many occasions. It was an official inauguration. Documents they are giving me must be right.’
