Escaping for dear life : Families fleeing from the Syrian civil war

The civil war in Syria has so far led to the deaths of 400,000 people and half of the country's population have been displaced. Jordan, thought to have already absorbed 1.4 million Syrian refugees, has now said that “we simply cannot receive more”. (AP)

It appears that Bashir Assad's troops and the rebels who are fighting for the control of the country will not stop fighting until there is no one left in the country to rule over.
