Completing a jigsaw : Naby Keita arrives Liverpool

Keita has completed his much awaited £53m move from RB Leipzig to Anfield, with the deal agreed last summer. The Guinean was officially unveiled this week, with the 23-year-old handed Steven Gerrard’s iconic No.8 jersey.

The arrival of the midfielder is expected to result in making the team more complete.

Keita was welcomed to the club by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as the midfield dynamo was shown around the Melwood training complex.

Keita’s new Liverpool teammates are still on holiday or at the World Cup. Oxlade-Chamberlain has begun rehabilitation after suffering knee ligament damage at the end of last season.
