North Korean dictator, Kim Jong-un, was said to be deeply moved yesterday after a rare performance by visiting South Korean pop stars
The cultural diplomacy had to come before a summit between the North Korean leader and President Moon of South Korea on April 27.

Mr Kim, who attended the performance with his wife, Ri Sol-ju, appeared to enjoy the concert in Pyongyang, which ended with a song about reunification that earned a standing ovation.
North Korea’s official news agency, KCNA, reported: “He said that he was deeply moved to see our people sincerely acclaiming the performance, deepening the understanding of the popular art of the South’s side.”
The concert, the first of two, included some of South Korea’s biggest K-pop stars, including the girl group Red Velvet.
