Austria's capital Vienna has been voted as the city offering the best quality of life in the world.
Surprisingly, the city is top for the 9th year running.
With a population of 1.8 million, Vienna topped the survey for the ninth year in a row, boasting a vibrant cultural scene, comprehensive healthcare and moderate housing costs.
City sanitation plays an important role when companies decide where to establish locations abroad and send expatriate workers. Conditions used in the sanitation ranking include : air pollution, infectious diseases, sewage, water availability and quality, and waste removal.
