Neymar is believed to have told the French club he wants a return to Spain
There are reports that Brazilian star Neymar has put PSG on alert that he may be looking for a transfer from Paris. This has prompted President Nasser Al-Khelaifi to fly to Brazil for talks with his star man. The Brazilian is currently in his homeland recovering from an operation following the foot injury sustained during a recent win over rivals Marseille.
The father of the player, who is also his agent, is now reported to have met with the hierarchy of Real Madrid. It is claimed the latter have obtained a rough financial estimation of what it would take to bring Neymar to the Bernabeu in a sensational move, according to AS.
A fee in the region of €400m (£355m) has been circulating. This is believed to be the price that could see Neymar leave Paris and make a remarkable switch to the bitter rivals of his former club Barcelona.
Should any such move occur in the future, it would see Neymar shatter the record set by himself when putting pen to paper for PSG, in a transfer which required the meeting of a £198m buy-out clause.
