Following last year's bitterly contested election, Kenya's president and opposition leader have promised to begin a process of reconciliation
Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga spoke on national TV. This was after holding their first public meeting since the election.
Mr Odinga, earlier this year, swore himself in as the "people's president" refusing to recognise election winner Mr Kenyatta as head of state.

Resolving the two men's differences may not be easy as Kenya is sharply divided along ethnic lines because of the political situation.
The opposition charges of rigged elections, police brutality and state high-handedness were not even mentioned - only a joint call for national dialogue.
It is hoped the two men are not merely putting on a show for the visiting US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson.
