The Super Monster Wolf will scare away boars and stray creatures to protect farms in Japan
A ROBOT wolf with flashing red eyes and huge white fangs are to start protecting crops across Japan by scaring away wild boars.
The evil-looking Super Monster Wolf will go into mass production next month. It will cost farmers around £3,480 (514,000 yen) if they want to see it guarding their crops.
The mechanical guard dog stands at 50cm tall and 65cm long. When it senses an animal approaching its eyes light up and it starts to howl, according to Asahi Television.
It also has a range of howl noises to stop animals getting use to it and relies on rechargeable solar batteries for power.
