Limping Tom Cruise films more stunts for Mission Impossible 6

Perfect setting: Filming took place at St Paul's Cathedral in London on Friday, with the church closed to the public for the day to allow the star free reign of the monument

In spite of breaking his ankle six months ago on set but determined to perform more of his own stunts, the 55-year-old actor was seen sprinting past the cameras.  However, he appeared to be hobbling as he took breaks from filming the high-octane scenes.

Apparently less intense than some of the stunts he has been seen performing in the past, though equally as athletic, the star was seen sprinting up the monuments staircase whilst two extras attired in police uniform tried to hold him back.

Even though it's not yet known how pivotal this will be to the plot, it appears Tom's character U.S. government operative Ethan Hunt was unable to enter the church.  He is hauled out by the police, yet Ethan is known for always finding his way out of a sticky situation.
