Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho was back to his sparkling best for Brazil last night and scored the second in their 2-0 win against Ecuador.
The 25-year-old handed in a transfer request in August in an attempt to force through a move to Barcelona but the move looks dead with the La Liga transfer window set to shut today.
Coutinho is yet to feature for Liverpool this term with Jurgen Klopp claiming he was carrying a back injury.
However, the midfielder showed few signs of any pain when he linked up with Neymar to score a well worked for Tite’s side.

The Brazilian now looks set to stay at Anfield but the club are believed to harbour no ill-feeling towards Coutinho for his wish to move to Barcelona.
Liverpool take on Manchester City at the Etihad after the international break and Coutinho is expected to be reintroduced into Jurgen Klopp’s side.
