Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo has been listed the 11th
most fashionable sportsperson in the world by American publication
The 32-year-old Portugal international is described as 'sleek, slim
and sharp', with panellist and CEO of Thomas Faison Agency
Rachel Johnson saying 'Ronaldo's style has versatility for miles,
but he's at his best in a leather jacket, t-shirt and denim.'
But like everything in the sporting world that Ronaldo turns his
attention to, he will be disappointed not to rank first.

Ronaldo's overall style is described as 'versatility for miles' by the Sports

Roger Federer is fourth on the Sports Illustrated list -
the highest ranked European
Roger Federer is the highest ranking European, at fourth.
The Swiss, who won his eighth Wimbledon title and 19th Grand
Slam by defeating Marin Cilic at SW19 on Sunday, is credited
for excelling 'in classic pieces, such as blazers and slim suits'.
But Federer is not the highest ranking tennis player on the list.
Serena Williams edged him into third place, with panellist and
executive editor Faye Penn saying: 'Strong isn't just sexy,
it's incredibly chic in Serena Williams' case. Power is her style
statement, and everything flows from that.'
There are also nods to another tennis player in Maria Sharapova,
who ranks 10th, and Formula One's Lewis Hamilton who polls eighth.
The top 20 largely consists of stars of American sport such as NBA,
Major League Baseball and NHL.

Walt Clyde Frazier, another member of the six-person panellist
who is an ex-NBA player and style icon, said of Westbrook:
'He's the most provocative, eccentric, enigmatic dresser
and player in the NBA.'
