Is Secretary Tillerson On His Way Out?

It appears that Rex Tillerson, America's Secretary of State, is not particularly impressed with the way the president of the United States has been discharging his responsibilities.  There are fears he may be planning his exit.

Tillerson, 65, a former Chief Executive of the Exxon-Mobil oil company, was reported to be unhappy about the president's ''unprofessional'' attacks on the Attorney General Jeff Sessions.


Surely, there are other things that must have upset the Secretary of State.  These include Mr. Trump's involvement in foreign affairs and staffing decisions.  State department spokeswoman Heather Nauert tried to brush aside suggestions that Mr. Tillerson was on his way out.  She said, ''Just taking a little time off.''

It would appear president Trump's administration is becoming scandal-plagued.  Nevertheless, it is at times like this that the president needs all his friends.
