OXFORD PROFESSOR KILLED BY COWS
Professor Bellhouse with daughter Cathy Curtis |
Retired Oxford don, Brian Bellhouse, has been killed in the idyllic Sussex village of Guestling while out walking. The professor was trampled to death by a herd of cows in a village field.
For some reasons, the herd of cattle had become agitated and charged at the retired professor. A helicopter was scrambled and paramedics from the air ambulance administered CPR but they could not save the 80-year-old multimillionaire. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Professor Bellhouse became an overnight millionaire in the early 1990s through the invention of a devise for needle-free injections, helping raise his company PowderJect's value to over half a billion pounds.
