Romelu Lukaku's return to Chelsea is, no doubt, a home-coming.  The striker was sold to Everton when Mourinho was the Blues' manager.  It is strange that the same Mourinho now wants him at Manchester United.

The Belgian, however, believes that he cannot only win the Premier League with the Blues but that they would also give him the Champions League platform he craves.  Lukaku feels he needs to leave Everton to take his career to the next level.  He was able to score 26 goals for Everton during the just-ended season.

The 24-year-old striker actually believes he has some unfinished business at Stamford Bridge.  For a player they sold for £28 million only three years ago, Chelsea are being asked to pay around £100 million by Everton.  Talks are on-going.
Chelsea are looking to pay Lukaku in excess of £150,000 a week.
