American, Otto Warmbier, 22, from Cincinnati, Ohio who was arrested, tried and imprisoned in North Korea after stealing a poster has been released from a 15-year sentence and sent home in coma. He was reported to have stolen the poster from his hotel on New Year's Eve in 2015. Warmbier, a university student, has been held in North Korea for more than a year.
His parents, Fred and Cindy, confirmed that their son has been released. They said, ''Sadly, he is in coma and we have been told he has been in that condition since March, 2016. We want the world to know how we and our son have been brutalized by the pariah
regime in North Korea.''
