The self-obsessed North Korean despot has recently spent a tidy sum, estimated to be over £45m, to buy television sets for the people, mostly the ruling elite. This is simply so that his loyal subjects can watch him on the box.
North Korean television is taken up with endless news reports about Kim's nuclear arms race, the greatness of the deluded tyrant and the might of the nation's military.
