Joshua v Klitschko

It is not just modesty or humility that is driving Anthony Joshua to admit that he is risking defeat due to his obvious inexperience in Saturday's Wembley collision with Wladimir Klitschko.  You only need to look at the achievements of the massive Ukranian.  Klitschko was the world's heavyweight boxing champion for ten years.

As 90,000 eager fans look forward to an epic fight, the muscle-bound Londoner is not oblivious of the fight record of the huge Ukranian who stands between him and his dream.
Hear the Briton, 'I'm not saying I'm going to lose this fight, even though I could have built towards it through mandatory defences of my IBF belt or taking the European route.  But this chance has come at this time and I didn't see myself waiting around six or eight years before cracking on with the mega fights.

There have been suggestions that Joshua, the younger man by 14 years, may be engaging with too much respect for his opponent.  To this, the Londoner would only reply,
'Neither of us like the trash-talking and this fight doesn't need it.'

We at Beulaland Blog wish the better man a good win.
