It was a tie every one had looked forward to. A key fixture on Easter Sunday. What made it more vital was the fact that it was the third meeting between the two sides this season. Can the Blues beat the Red Devils for the third time? All eyes were fixed on the Theatre of Dreams. It would appear that Chelsea have gotten used to winning having lost less than five games all season.
The game had become even more interesting considering that some of Manchester United's big boys would not be starting. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, already scorer of 28 goals this season, would be on the bench and Juan Mata, the impish United midfielder, was out due to injury.

It was therefore left to youngsters Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard to spearhead the attack. They did not disappoint as Rashford scored the first goal. The other goal was scored by Ander Herrera who was brilliant all afternoon.
This loss by Chelsea has reduced the gap between them and second placed Tottenham to just four points. With only six games left, it would be interesting to see who eventually wins the title.
