Chelsea set club record 13th home victory by beating Manchester United in the FA Cup
Antonio Conte has set a new record at Chelsea by securing a 13th consecutive home victory with the 1-0 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup on Monday evening.
N’Golo Kante’s second-half strike has fired the Premier League leaders to Wembley where they will face Tottenham in the semi-final.
In a fiery encounter at Stamford Bridge, Ander Herrera was sent off after 35 minutes, while Conte and Mourinho clashed on the touchline.
But it’s the Italian who came out on top, and has managed to break a club record set by his countryman Carlo Ancelotti.
Chelsea’s previous best of 12 consecutive wins at home was set by Ancelotti during the 2009-10 campaign.
‘To play Man United is not easy, they have one of the best squads in the league and they showed that tonight.’
