Dramatic moment London-bound Jet Airways flight is intercepted by two fighter jets after it lost radio contact over Germany in footage from BA plane

At first just one fighter jet was seen next to the airliner




A pair of German Air Force Euro fighters intercepted a Jet Airways 777-300ER heading for the capital from Mumbai on Saturday after it failed to respond on the appropriate air traffic control frequencies.

The two jets pull alongside the passenger jet headed for London








The incredible footage was captured from a British Airways plane close to the incident in the skies over Cologne in Germany.

Aviation enthusiast CirrusPilot wrote on Facebook: “The JA pilots saw the Eurofighters and after speaking over emergency frequencies the plane carried onto London.”

However, many people have noticed a small dark object in the footage that appears to be moving very quickly, sparking speculation it is a UFO.
But aviation experts were quick to dismiss the claim. one said: “The crossing dark spot is the shadow of higher traffic cast on the cloud top. It’s speed is typical of jet traffic.
“Nothing unusual about it at all.”
