Yodelling is becoming the in-thing in Switzerland
Luasa has become the first university in Switzerland to offer a yodelling degree.
The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Luasa) is to run a three-year bachelor's degree and a two-year master's.
The courses begin in the 2018-19 academic year.
Yodelling is described as a form of singing which involves wobbling the voice up and down in a rapid change of pitch.
The form was traditionally used by Swiss herdsmen to communicate in the mountains. However, it was later adopted by musicians for its entertainment potential.
The course will be led by Nadja Räss, a prize-winning Swiss yodeller who has her own academy in Zurich.
