Junior doctor Elizabeth Calton suffered two crushed cheekbones, a split palate and had her jaw broken in half after being kicked in the head by her horse, Barney
After the horrific accident, Doctor Calton had her face reconstructed by surgeons who used old Facebook pictures to build her new appearance.
This took nine surgeons ten hours, 41 screws and 11 plates to rebuild the 38-year-old doctor's face "like a jigsaw" after the accident last October. Not unexpectedly, pictures of Elizabeth helped painstakingly recapture her original bone structure.

Hear Dr Calton:
"The impact basically crushed the middle of my face backwards.
"I was incredibly lucky, both to have been discovered by passers-by, but also to be brought to St George's, which has so many specialists in one place.
"I had panda eye bruising and my face was so swollen I was hardly recognisable, so to be back on my feet now, looking back to how I was, is amazing.
"I am grateful to everyone who looked after me - so many people were involved in my care."
