German baby escapes being named after the devil
A baby in Germany will not be named Lucifer after authorities said the name could endanger the child's wellbeing.
A registrar in Kassel sought advice from the court after a couple tried to give their son the name.
After a hearing they agreed to call their son Lucian instead.
Authorities have the right not to accept names but there is no ban on any specific name.
It is surprising that most parents still do not understand the spiritual implications of names.
A person's name, in most cases, has been known to determine the type of life that person lives eventually.
Throughout history people have changed their names to reflect their aspirations in life, their dreams and their goals.
