The sacked FBI director is expected to accuse President Trump of bullying when he appears before the Senate intelligence committee probably next week.
He will confirm allegations that Mr Trump attempted to interfere with the FBI investigation into a senior official's link to Russia.
Comey's sudden dismissal last month reinforced suspicions that Mr Trump fired him because he refused to swear personal allegiance to him.
