Antonio Conte is still threatening to quit Chelsea
if the club fail to fully back him in the transfer
window this summer, according to reports.

Yahoo Sport claims that the Italian has not yet
made a final decision over his future at Stamford
Bridge and is ready to walk away if he believes
the squad would be unable to cope with the
demands of Champions League football.

Conte has also told the board he wants a new
right-back, a central midfielder, a winger and
another striker. The Premier League champions
are closing in on the signings of Monaco midfielder
Tiemoue Bakayoko and Juventus left-back Alex
Sandro but Conte is threatening to quit if a
world-class striker and a centre-back are not
 brought to the club.

The report claims that at one stage this month,
Conte had even told a colleague that he felt he
would
not carry on at Stamford Bridge because of how
unsatisfied he was.
It’s also claimed that Conte is unhappy with a lack
 of
direct communication with Roman Abramovich,
some members of his backroom staff, the lack of development
in the club’s academy and his salary.
Reports in Italy claim that the 47-year-old has
 is
 yet to commit.
Conte is said to be happy with the terms on offer,
while Chelsea have also granted his request of being
able to pick his own replacement for Steve Holland,
who left to become Gareth Southgate’s full-time
assistant with the England national team.
