A MUTT robot, armed with a machine gun, undergoes testing in harsh territory in the US THE US Army has revealed a new machine gun-wielding robot designed to travel underwater and storm beaches as the first line of attack in future naval invasions. It could be used to combat the military fortresses developed along North Korean beaches by tyrant Kim Jong-Un, who has warned the two countries are “on the brink of nuclear war“.

They use tracks, similar to a tank, to climb difficult terrain such as sank and hills
The so-called Multi-Tactical Transport Robot (MUTT) is already in use, though tests are underway at a site in California to allow it to launch beach invasions.
It uses tracks, like a tank, rather than wheels, allowing it to travel over rough terrain, including sand.
MUTT can also be outfitted with a range of weapons, including machine guns and mortars, or loaded with gear to transport across dangerous territory. Fox News reported variations of the machine were currently being tested under lock and key at Camp Pendleton, in California.
Among the guns that can be fitted to them is the Browning M2. 50 caliber, as well as the belt-fed fully automatic FN Hershel 240B machine gun.
The weapon could be used to storm the beaches Kim Jong-Un appears to have fortified as he grows increasingly concerned about the US.
Photos show tanks and missiles firing into the sea during recent military exercises as he tries to deter any hostilities with a dramatic show of force.
