Now that Arsenal have won the 2017 Football Association Cup, having surprisingly beaten Chelsea in Saturday's final, the Sanchez-Arsenal standoff may, in all likelihood, be coming to an end. It would appear that the London club are now in a better position to re-sign the mercurial Chilean.
The club have made a new offer to the contract rebel in a bid to keep him from the clutches of Bayern Munich. The deal is understood to be £270,000 a week, short of the £300,000 the Chile star is demanding. The offer is reported to be loaded with incentives taking it closer to the figure Sanchez wants.
Bayern Munich, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are all waiting in the wings and are ready to pounce should the player refuse to sign a new deal at Arsenal.
