'WE ARE NOT CREATING A TERMINATOR'
Terrifying Russian-built robot which can fire GUNS is not a Terminator-like killing machine, insists deputy PM
Human-like creation has been captured in incredible footage driving a car and doing press ups
A TERRIFYING intelligent cyborg which can shoot GUNS and will be sent into space by the Russians is “not a Terminator-like killing machine”, the country’s deputy Prime Minister insists.
Combat robot F.E.D.O.R is a human-like creation which can reportedly be programmed to make its own decisions.

The combat robot named F.E.D.O.R. appears in a video shared by the Russian government The Kremlin hope to send the robot into space on a new ship called Federation, which is being built.
Its development comes as fears that World War Three could be upon us after PresidentTrump’s Tomahawk missile attack on the Syrian regime caused huge tension between the United States and Russia.
But Russia’s deputy PM Dimitry Rogozin insisted the humanoid is not designed to “terminate” enemies, when behind-the-scenes footage revealed its frightening capabilities.
He wrote on Twitter: “Robot platform F.E.D.O.R. showed shooting skills with two hands.
“We are not creating a Terminator, but artificial intelligence that will be of great practical significance in various fields.”
He said it will have a “huge applied value for different spheres of life”.
He added: “Combat robotics is a key to building intellectual machines.
“This is applicable to areas including aviation and space.”
A clip showing the machine drilling holes in walls, lifting weights and dropping for press ups was revealed by Russian press.
At one point F.E.D.O.R appears to drive a car.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister denied that F.E.D.O.R. (pictured during training) was a human killer Russian scientists are currently working on ways to improve its mobility, and also design software which enables the robot to make more of its own decisions.
They claim it can shoot a gun, and has undertaken firing exercises.
F.E.D.O.R. even managed to pass a test developed for rescue workers.
It’s a far cry from Russia’s rusty boats which passed by the White Cliffs of Dover earlier this year on return from a “shameful” Syria bombing campaign.
And it hasn’t got a patch on Boston Dynamic’s “nightmare inducing” robot which can leap into the air. (The Sun, UK)
