Pierre Konrad Dadak was living in Ibiza when he was arrested in 2016

He had a mansion in Ibiza, where he kept a huge garage of cars including Bentleys, Ferraris and a Lamborghini.

In a swoop, about 100 armed police seized Pierre Konrad Dadak, 42, in 2016.

He is under investigation for fraud and money laundering but Spanish police, working with law enforcement agencies across Europe, also believe he is behind a series of multimillion-pound arms deals, selling tanks, AK47s and ground-to-air missiles.

Dadak has denied involvement in any criminal activity. He told the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project, a European investigative journalism consortium:
“I am portrayed as a Pablo Escobar, but I’m nothing. I do not consider myself a criminal. Quite the contrary.”

However, Dadak records do not support his claims.

Police therefore raided his property in July 2016.  Mr Dadak was detained in his underpants with his girlfriend at the time, Katerina Dirgina, a Ukrainian former model.  The property had a fake plaque claiming it was a diplomatic residence of Guinea-Bissau.
