England are a step closer to confirming their place at the 2018 World Cup Finals in Russia.  They were cheered on by over 80,000 fans on Sunday at Wembley as they defeated Lithuania, their Group F opponents.  The first goal of the match was scored in the 21st minute by Jamie Defoe who was recalled to the group after a four-year absence.  Another goal was added by Jamie Vardy in the sixty-six minute.  England are currently top of their group with 13 points.
